ACCESSIBLE TO ALL, FAMILY-FRIENDLY & DOG-FRIENDLY EVENT: 🧟🐶 Bring the whole horde out for the day! Children with spooky dispositions will enjoy this perfect primer to Halloween events. All participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome to join their undead owners. Accessible routes are planned for strollers and wheelchairs.

SUPPORTING A WORTHY CAUSE: 💜 The Bristol Zombie Walk has chosen to support Deane Animal Sanctuary this year, a remarkable charity that rescues and provides lifelong care for abused, abandoned, and neglected animals. The sanctuary offers educational programs and family-friendly experiences alongside its volunteer and rescue work. Their mission of kindness and second chances deeply aligns with the community spirit here in Bristol. Located just 30–40 minutes from the city, visitors can learn and see firsthand how their support makes a difference.

The BZW returns Triumphantly

Info: - Meet by the old church in Castle Park from 11am, if you are new you can’t miss us, we'll be the undead lot in the middle surrounded by photographers and scared looking freshers.
- This is a great opportunity to get to know your fellow walkers, compare makeup tips, and grab sime raffle tickets, which are helping to raise funds to support Dean Animal Sanctuary. The assortment of prizes we have had donated to our prize pool are pretty immense!
- We set off at noon on our route. KEEP IT SLOW AND SHAMBLING, you'll want this bit to be all "Slow but unstoppable horde" type vibe to get amazing pics of you all looking awesome.
- Our organiser team will lead the way, follow the big ginger lady staggering with a BZW flag and you can’t go wrong.
- Please use all crossings properly, our stewards are there to make sure you do, they are the ones with the Brain signs.
- We have several Photo Op stops planned along the way where we will wait for others to catch up for a bit.

Info: - When we arrive at the end of our route, it's back to zombie social hour anf definitely stick around for the raffle prize draw and the results of our costume and makeup contests will be announced from 3pm .
- If we go proper slow zombie shambling mode that should take 90-120 minutes depending on the size of the horde, remember Romeros at the front (slow zombies), 28 days in the middle (fast infected with lots of energy). We love you guys and all your great outfits and as always we can't wait to see what you have lined up for this year.
- We have arranged a special Zombie discount at Exchange ag Old Market where will be a bunch of bands playing and plenty of places to rest your gammy legs. The special discount is available on their site now for any who want to take advantage of the offer.

Safety stuff

Info: This is YOUR walk and it would be nothing without all of you and the wonderful effort you all put into making it look awesome. Therefore, the less problems we all have, the longer we can keep it going. Rest assured, we have bigger plans for next year.
There will be Zombie Stewards clearly marked at each turning who will be helping you with which way to go. They will be dotted throughout the Horde to help remind you that traffic can be dangerous; as well-placed bus could remove the head or destroy the brain. Listen to these guys, they are not there to stop you having fun, just an extra pair of eyes to keep everyone safe. They are also there to help you to keep shambling in the right direction (follow the brains signs).
Remember not to lurch into the road, attack the living or generally involve anybody that doesn't want to rake part. Do not to smear blood over shop windows, and please respect any businesses who put signs out front saying "No Zombies, Please".

Last of the safety things

Info: There will be plenty of spots where we are welcome as long as we a well-mannered. Also being a Zombie doesn't mean you are allowed to break the rules of the living, so please, do not bring anything that could be construed as a weapon or any fireworks. We are filming/photographing much of the walk, so anyone putting others in danger, will be spotted and images handed over for the police to deal with.
Anyone not following these guidelines can be considered not part of the walk.
