Best Ways To Celebrate Halloween  2026 In Orlando | Parades, Ghost Tours & More

Orlando is much more than its theme parks. Downtown has a strong performing-arts scene, while neighbourhoods such as Ivanhoe Village, Mills 50 and the Milk District bring street art, independent businesses and smaller local venues into the mix. The city has 12 official Main Street districts, each with its own character and community calendar. Ivanhoe Village, for instance, mixes historic streets and lakeside parks with cultural venues and indie shops just north of downtown. October brings that local side of Orlando into focus, with concerts, outdoor movie nights, family festivals and larger Halloween productions appearing across the city.

1. Vixenz Family Fright Night - Halloween Car Show

The Vixenz Family Fright Night - Halloween Car Show takes place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 5 PM to 9 PM at O’Reilly Auto Parts on South Orange Blossom Trail. Hosted by Vixenz Car Shows, the evening brings the automotive community together for a Halloween-themed show held in loving memory of Xialani.

Cars and bikes share the spotlight, while families can expect music, vendors, photo opportunities and trunk-or-treat activities. Trophy announcements are planned toward the end of the evening, giving the event the feel of both a traditional car meet and a community Halloween gathering.

2. LCO Presents: Music for the Macabre - Halloween in Concert LIVE

The LCO Presents: Music for the Macabre - Halloween in Concert LIVE comes to the Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater at Dr. Phillips Center on September 13, 2026, at 3 PM. The LCO Chamber Pops Orchestra leads a live orchestral performance that blends Halloween atmosphere with music inspired by classic and modern composers and vintage film moments.

Costumes are encouraged, adding a little audience participation without turning the afternoon into a conventional costume party. The concert is also presented in partnership with Orange County Public Schools and the Junior Maestro Mentorship Program, bringing professional musicians and rising student performers together on the same stage.

3. Once Upon a Halloween in Ivanhoe Village

The Once Upon a Halloween in Ivanhoe Village spreads across the neighbourhood on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 5 PM to 9 PM. Gaston Edwards Park plays a central role in the evening, with an outdoor screening of Ghostbusters planned under the stars.

There is plenty happening before the movie too. Family trick-or-treating, spooky storytelling around Lake Formosa and a special market at City Food Hall are all part of the wider neighbourhood celebration, making this one feel more like an evening stroll through Ivanhoe Village than a single-venue Halloween event.

4. Daylite Orlando Halloween Festival at SOBOX

The Daylite Orlando Halloween Festival at SOBOX fills SOBOX at 2105 North Orange Blossom Trail on Saturday, October 31, from 10 AM to 6 PM. This is an all-ages daytime event, with house-music DJs and several indoor and outdoor areas running throughout the eight-hour festival.

The programme goes well beyond music. A supercar showcase, international food, local artists and designers, a vendor marketplace, face painting and trick-or-treating are all planned, so families can move between activities rather than spending the whole day around one stage.

5. Florida Halloween Festival – Haunted House Edition

Florida Halloween Festival – Haunted House Edition is scheduled at Xperience Live, 6385 West Colonial Drive, from 10 PM on October 31 until 2 AM on November 1, 2026. Multiple haunted-house experiences, interactive horror attractions, six DJs and costume competitions make up the core of the late-night programme.
