Rooted in the foundations of Vogue Femme, this 10-week course will guide participants in the elements of Ballroom Culture.About this Event
Step into a space of expression, empowerment, and exploration in this Vogue Femme , 10 week workshop led by legendary Frederick “Fabulous Freddie” Leroy. Rooted in the foundations of Vogue Femme, this session invites participants to embrace and intertwine their masculine and feminine energies regardless of gender identity. Through guided movement, freestyle exploration, and intentional practice, dancers will learn to channel both strength and softness, control and fluidity, boldness and grace.

Arts Facilitator Bio: Frederick The Alchemist Fabulous Freddie” Leroy is a dynamic Voguer, Bboy, teaching artist, and performer with over 10 years of experience, beginning with breaking in high school. He’s made his mark in Vogue Femme, Allstyle, and B-Boy/B-Girl battles bringing versatility, power, and grace to every floor. In 2024, Freddie was honored with Legendary status in the ballroom scene. As a Black Gay artist, Freddie uses movement as a practice of healing, self-affirmation, and transformation. Blending the foundations of Breaking and Vogue Femme, he explores and expresses the fluid interplay of masculinity and femininity creating space for dialogue, visibility, and liberation through the body.
