It's that time of year again! Halloween (AKA everyone's favorite holiday) is almost upon us. Do you have your costume ready yet? Or like me, do you wait all year for the inspiration of a creative costume idea only to be scrambling at the last minute when you finally think of one? Or as a mature adult, have you grown out of the desire to wear a Halloween costume? If so, let me know what's that's like, because I haven't evolved to that level of maturity yet.
This would be such an easy task if we lived 2000 years ago in the time of the Celts, because we'd just wear animal skins and heads. Of course, your choices would be limited to deer, cow, maybe a wolf, so not a lot of room to be creative. Deciding on a costume in the modern era is truly the scariest part of Halloween, but you know what would really be scary? If you didn't come to see us NEXT Friday, October 18th at Rock & Brews in The Colony. I KNEW there was a way I could segue into my main purpose for this email, which is to hawk our next gig!
Anyway, if your brain is tired of trying to come up with a creative costume idea for All Hallows Eve, may I suggest that you take a break and join us at Rock & Brews on October 18th? We'll be masquerading as a drummer, a guitar player and a bass player...! Hope to see you next Friday!
