You’ll wander through echoing chambers, winding staircases, and shadowy passageways as your guide uncovers the grizzly tales and sinister secrets hidden within these medieval walls.
From brutal executions to stories of crime and cruelty, discover the darker side of the Castle’s past in a spine-chilling evening of history with a haunting twist.
Finally you will visit our haunted gaol and end the night on the Castle Keep roof, where you can catch your breath (if you haven’t lost it already!) and take in the city lights below.

Suitability
This is a walking tour of a Grade 1 listed historical monument, so please wear suitable footwear. Unfortunately the Castle Keep is not a fully accessible building, so you will need to be able to manage a significant number of stairs during the event. The Castle Keep will be cold, so please dress appropriately!
