Details
This Halloween step into the chilling legend of Mercy Allington — a local woman accused of witchcraft whose story refused to die. Rumour claimed she was no ordinary witch: something inhuman, uncanny, and impossible to explain. Whether she was feared, misunderstood, or truly otherworldly, her tale has lingered in the shadows for centuries.
As you move from room to room, you’ll uncover the folklore, whispered sightings, and strange happenings tied to Mercy’s name — along with the secrets of the mysterious Scarlet Circle, the group said to have protected her… or hunted her.
This is a tour for adults who enjoy their legends dark, their ghosts unsettling, and their history threaded with superstition, rumour, and the uncanny presence of those who never quite left.
All told within the atmospheric walls of historic Himley Hall, where Mercy’s story still stirs.
This tour contains adult themes and is intended for a mature audience. However, we do allow older children and braver accompanied children with adult guidance
Pre-booking essential
