The return of a fun Saps tradition! Saturday October 4 from 5:00 to 8:30 pm (Doors open 4:30) at First Lutheran Church of El Cajon, 867 S Lincoln Ave, El Cajon, CA 92020Donation is $10 per person and includes desserts. FREE for Kids 12 and under!
Yes, you can bring in takeout or other food. As Oliver Hardy would say, "Bring your eats with you!"
Join us for a night of spooky fun! We'll start with a cartoon, "Skeleton Frolic"(1937). Then Farina (Allen Hoskins) steals the show in "Shivering Spooks" (1926).
Next is "Habeas Corpus"(1928). In this popular short, Stan and Ollie have to pick someone up at a graveyard... Lots of screams for them, lots of laughs for you!
In "Public Ghost #1"(1935) Charlie Chase is hired to "haunt" a house to scare the residents into moving. He doesn't know that the woman he loves lives there...
After intermission, we'll show "The Laurel-Hardy Murder Case" (1930). The Boys arrive at a creepy mansion on a stormy night, only to find they are murder suspects. And no one is allowed to leave!
Our finale is "A Haunting We Will Go" (1942). Stan and Ollie get a job transporting a coffin, which actually contains a live gangster. Then they become assistants to Dante the Magician!
