For years, when October settles over Waxhaw and darkness begins to fall a little earlier, something stirs along the wooded trails of the Museum of the Waxhaws.Lanterns flicker between the trees. Shadows move where no one is standing. Familiar paths become something altogether different after nightfall.
The Museum of the Waxhaws Haunted Trail is more than a Halloween event—it has become a Waxhaw tradition. It is a night of suspense, screams, laughter, and memories shared with friends and family during one of the most anticipated seasons of the year.
This October, the trail returns.
