We're expanding our Haunted Supper Series to one of Dayton's most spirited addresses, and we mean that literally. Nestled in the heart of the Oregon District, Thai 9 Restaurant carries a haunted history that didn't begin with us. It began with the previous owner, who knew exactly who shared the space with her, and she even set a place at the table for him every Thanksgiving.
That tradition continues today.
These nights are intentionally intimate, designed to give guests the time, the food, the history, and the atmosphere needed for meaningful paranormal interaction. This is not a standard ghost hunt. This is an evening to be experienced!
A SPIRIT SO KNOWN, THEY COOK FOR HIM
Most haunted locations are defined by what investigators experience during a single night. Thai 9 is defined by decades of coexistence.
The previous owner of this Oregon District restaurant didn't just acknowledge one of the male spirits who occupied the building, she communicated with him regularly. She knew him. And every Thanksgiving, without fail, she prepared a meal in his honor.
When the restaurant changed hands, the tradition didn't end. The new owners continue it today.
That is not a ghost story. That is a relationship, one that has outlasted ownership, renovation, and time. And it tells you everything you need to know about the kind of presence waiting inside Thai 9.

Thai 9 doesn't exist in isolation. It sits inside the Oregon District, one of Dayton's oldest and most historically layered neighborhoods, a stretch of 19th century architecture, former saloons, boarding houses, and businesses that have witnessed more than a century of Dayton life.
Your evening doesn't stay inside the restaurant. We take you out into the history of the district.
Before the investigation begins, we'll walk you through the Oregon District itself, the streets, the buildings, the stories that most people walk past without knowing. By the time we return to Thai 9, you'll understand exactly what kind of neighborhood this spirit chose to stay in.

This is not a ghost tour with a side of takeout. This is a full evening: family style dinner, neighborhood ghost walk, and a guided paranormal investigation, designed to be immersive, relaxed, and genuinely memorable.

We'll begin with dinner, delicious food, generous portions, good company. From there, we move outside for the Oregon District walk. When we return, the restaurant closes around us and the investigation begins.
The walking tour covers outdoor areas of the Oregon District, Rain or shine! dress for the weather and wear comfy shoes for the walk!
