✨ What to Expect:
🏰 Explore Kirkgate (the museum's indoor Victorian High Street) transformed into a spooky market with eerie lighting and sound effects.
👪 Family-friendly atmosphere with no horror actors, suitable for all ages. Under 10s go FREE! The venue kindly requests pushchairs are parked in the designated area in the front entrance for safety reasons. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
🍔 Food stalls will offer cold pre-packaged items for take-home only, no hot food and no on-site eating allowed to preserve Kirkgate's delicate nature.
💳 Please bring cash. Although most stallholders can accept card payments, limited signal may affect card transactions.
🚸 The venue is wheelchair/mobility scooter accessible (although Kirkgate does have cobbles). The venue kindly requests pushchairs are parked in the designated area in the front entrance for safety reasons.
🅿️ Parking available in the Castle car park opposite the museum's entrance from 6pm for £4 all night (£1 with a York Residents Minster Badge or free for disabled blue badge holders).
🐾 No Dogs Allowed, except for assistance/guide dogs with attire.
👗 Fancy dress/costumes are not mandatory but encouraged! Let's get into the Halloween spirit together!
