A Samhain gathering of magick, community, and service. 🌕🍂

As the days grow shorter and we arrive at the threshold of Samhain, we invite you to gather with Avalon Rises for an evening of reflection, celebration, connection—and giving back.

Samhain has long marked a turning point in the wheel of the year: a time to honor what has come before, gather together as the darkness deepens, and turn our attention toward what we carry forward.

We’ll begin our evening with a Samhain MaxMeditation with Dr. Jane Bradbury, creating space to become still, connect with the energy of the season, and reflect on the cycles of ending, transformation, and renewal moving through our own lives.

Then, we’ll bring that magick outward.

Together, we’ll spend the rest of the evening enjoying a festive Samhain gathering while creating a little Halloween hope for children served by The SAFE Alliance. Our community service projects will include:

• 🎃 A Halloween costume drive
• ✂️ Making festive Halloween decorations
• 🍬 Assembling Halloween goodie bags for the kids
• 🍂 Plenty of time to gather, create, connect, and enjoy the season together

The SAFE Alliance serves survivors of abuse and violence throughout our Austin community, including children and families. Each fall, SAFE collects Halloween costumes and treats so that children in their care can experience some of the fun and joy of the season, too.

At Avalon Rises, we believe that magick is not only something we experience within ourselves. It is something we can bring into the world through the way we care for one another.

A meditation can change the space within us.

An act of kindness can change the space around us.

And when we gather together with intention, even something as simple as decorating a room, filling a goodie bag, or helping a child choose a Halloween costume can become an act of stewardship.

This is what it means to Gather & Give.
