An Evening of Salsa & Liberation

Have you ever watched someone dancing freely in public and wished you could let go like that?

To move without wondering who was watching.

To express yourself without feeling self-conscious.

To release your inhibitions without needing a few drinks first.

This Halloween (or Samhain, if you prefer), step inside the breathtaking surroundings of Fabrica for a masquerade ball unlike any other.

Begin the evening behind a mask.

Borrow its courage.

Meet a bolder, more playful and expressive version of yourself through salsa.

Then, as the evening unfolds, join us for The Unmasking—a collective invitation to remove the mask, release your inhibitions and dance as the person who was underneath it all along.

The mask didn’t create your confidence.

It gave you permission to reveal what was already within you.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The evening begins with an immersive Salsa & Flow™ workshop exploring:

• Confidence and authentic self-expression
• Partner connection
• Musicality and playfulness
• Giving and receiving clear invitations
• Moving beyond self-consciousness
• Feeling the dance instead of performing it
• Letting yourself be seen before you feel “good enough”

This isn’t about learning the most complicated salsa combination.

It’s about getting out of your head, reconnecting with your body and discovering how freely you can move when you stop worrying about getting everything right.

You don’t need to become a different person to feel confident on the dance floor.

You may simply need a space where you feel safe enough to let that part of you come forward.

TWO WORKSHOP LEVELS

Guests will be divided into two groups:

NEW TO SALSA

For those at the start of their salsa journey. You’ll explore accessible salsa foundations while developing your confidence, partner connection and freedom of movement. No previous dance experience is needed.

ACQUAINTED WITH SALSA

For those already acquainted with the foundations of Cuban salsa and comfortable dancing with a partner.

You’ll explore more adventurous Halloween-themed rueda moves alongside musicality, partner connection, playfulness and self-expression.

Expect tricks, turns and a few surprises as partners rotate around the circle.

Both groups will come together for the opening experience and The Unmasking.

THE UNMASKING

During the workshop, we’ll use masks and character to explore the version of ourselves we don’t always feel confident enough to reveal.

Perhaps your character is bold.

Playful.

Powerful.

Sensual.

Mysterious.

Completely unapologetic.

The mask becomes an invitation to experiment with how that version of you walks into a room, takes up space, connects with another person and moves to the music.

The workshop will culminate in The Unmasking: a guided collective moment where we remove our masks and bring that same confidence, freedom and expression into the dance as ourselves.

The person behind the mask was you all along.

Afterwards, the floor will open for our Halloween Masquerade Salsa Social.

THE FLOW

7:00–7:30 PM
MASQUERADE ARRIVAL

Arrive, explore Fabrica and choose an intention for the evening.

The experience begins from the moment you arrive, with out masquerade mission.

Receive your secret identity, step into character, complete your mission and find the other members of your masquerade house.

7:30–9:00 PM
SALSA & LIBERATION EXPERIENCE

An immersive Salsa & Flow™ workshop incorporating grounding, solo movement, partner connection, self-expression and The Unmasking.

Choose between our beginner and intermediate salsa experiences.

9:00 PM
ARRIVAL OF SOCIAL-ONLY GUESTS

The workshop concludes and the doors open for social-only ticket holders.

9:00–11:00 PM
THE HALLOWEEN MASQUERADE SOCIAL

Open social dancing inside Fabrica, with animations, rueda, a special performance and plenty of opportunities to put your newfound freedom into practice.

WHO IS IT FOR?

This evening is for you if:

• You wish you could dance more freely in public
• You feel self-conscious when people watch you move
• You want to express yourself without relying on alcohol for confidence
• You’ve always wanted to try salsa but haven’t felt brave enough
• You know the steps but still struggle to relax and enjoy the dance
• You want to become a more connected, present and expressive partner
• You’re ready to step away from the sidelines and onto the dance floor

Complete beginners, experienced dancers and everyone in between are welcome.

You do not need to bring a partner. We’ll rotate partners throughout the workshop so everyone has the opportunity to meet and dance with different people.

You’re also welcome to attend the social without joining the workshop.

DRESS CODE

Come masked, costumed or dressed as the version of yourself you’re ready to embody.

Choose a character that helps you access your most confident and expressive self.

Think masquerade, dark glamour, gothic elegance, mystery or Halloween magic.

Costumes and masks are encouraged, but never compulsory.

Please choose a mask that allows you to see clearly, breathe comfortably and move safely while dancing.

FULL MASQUERADE EXPERIENCE: £14

The workshop is capped at 60 people to protect the quality of the experience and allow enough space for movement and partner rotation.

There will be no workshop tickets available on the door. Advance booking is required.
