11am-2pm | FREE!
Costume contests and Halloween-themed activities, including spooky sales, creepy eats, and family fun!
TRICK-OR-TREAT COLLEGE AVENUE FROM BROADWAY TO ALCATRAZZZ! Visit merchants for candy, crafts, and fun surprises! (A full list of treat locations and actives will be added to our website closer to the event date.)
VISIT THE 2 FUN HUBS!!
FUN HUB #1 - 11am - 2pm - Oakland Public Library - Rockridge Branch at 5366 College Avenue
• Pick up Trick-or-Treat bags for the kids courtesy of Kelly S. Wright State Farm
• Librarian stories and songs
• Share the Love books from the Oakland Public Library — free used books — for kids and adults, while supplies last.
LIBRARY SCHEDULE:
11am - 2pm: Crafts with MoChA
11am - 2pm: Free Books, etc.
11am - 11:30am: StoryTime
11:30am - 12pm: Fratello Marionettes' Spooktacular
12pm - 12:30pm: StoryTime
12:30pm - 1:15pm: Asheba Caribbean Music for Kids

FUN HUB #2 - 12pm - 2pm - College Avenue Presbyterian Church outside courtyard at 5951 College Avenue
• All-ages Dance Party with DJ Danny Santos spinning groovesome Halloween Classics
• Mini-pumpkin decorating
• Ghost-sucker crafts and find the hidden images game for the kiddos hosted by Darlene Lizotte, Coldwell Banker
COSTUME CONTEST for Kids, Families, and Pets
The Rockridge District Association is offering prizes to a creative kid, freaky family, and furry friend.
• Kids: Best Costume wins $50 to GoldenBug and $50 to Bella Vita
• Families: Best Costumes wins $100 in Rockridge Gift Cards of your choice!
• Pets: Best Costume wins $50 to Cole Hardware
Entries can be submitted on social media (just tag #rockridgeoakland or @rockridgeoakland) or by emailing [email protected] from anywhere on College Avenue between 11am - 2pm during the event. Winners will be notified that day.
