Get ready for a swashbuckling good time at the Richmond River City Pirate Ball, hosted at the historic Hofheimer Building in the heart of Richmond, Virginia. On July 19th, 2025, immerse yourself in the world of piracy and celebrate Richmond’s rich maritime history with a night full of fun, treasure, and adventure!

What to Expect:

• Best-Dressed Pirate/Wench Contest: Dress to impress in your finest pirate or wench attire! Whether you're a fierce captain, a daring mate, or a spirited wench, the best-dressed will win treasure-filled prizes. Bring your A-game to this swashbuckling showdown!
• Pirate-Themed Cocktail Specials: Raise a glass to the pirate life with signature cocktails and rum-infused concoctions served throughout the night.
• Live Music + DJ: From classic sea shanties to party anthems, enjoy live music to fit the pirate spirit, followed by a DJ who will keep the party going until the stars come out.
• Event Photos: Capture the memories of your swashbuckling adventure with pirate-themed photo ops. Photos will be available online the week after the event.
• Charity Food Drive with Prize Raffle: Give back to the community! For every 2 cans donated, you’ll receive 1 raffle ticket. The more cans you donate, the more chances you have to win raffle prizes, with proceeds benefiting Richmond.

What to Wear:

Come in your “period attire” for this pirate-themed party! Whether it's a simple pirate costume, Ren Faire, colonial, or Victorian attire, you’ll fit right in with the crew!
