All About Music San Diego brings together talented classical musicians for an in-person experience filled with fun, learning, and beautiful music. Our Advance Orchestra welcomes students and other musicians with previous orchestral experience and private lessons such that the students will be comforatble playing advanced orchestral pieces. Please see the experience requirements below beofre signing up. This program is the perfect chance to perform, grow, and make new friends. Rehearsals start Saturday, August 22,2023 at 10:30am at The Musician's Association of San Diego (1717Morena Blvd, San Diego, CA 92110), and contiunue every Saturday from 10:30am-1pm. We will have a fall concert near Halloween and a Spring concert in May with other smaller events in between.

The season tuition is $650, of which a $75 non-refundable deposit is due at registration to hold a space. The remaining $575 can be paid at the first rehearsal and can also be broken into a fall and spring payment if preferred.

MUSICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ADVANCED ORCHESTRA:

String Instruments: Able to shift from first to 3rd position (Violins to 5th position), 2-3 octave scales, vIbrato, multiple bowing styles, Suzuki Book 4 or equivalent skill set.

Brass, Woodwind and Percussion Instruments: Please share with us your experrience level, years with private teacher, etc.
