Kick-off Halloween season with Huntington Children's Museum's fifth annual Pumpkin Carving Contest on Tuesday, October 21 at 6 PM outside The Market. Grab dinner at The Market and then enjoy the show!All contestants will have an hour to carve their masterpieces unless YOU decide to donate to extend their carving time. Additional minutes up to 30 minutes are available for $10 a minute NOW!
Contestants who raise $500 before the event will be permitted to choose a partner to assist with the competition!
DONATE NOW to give your favorite carver a leg up in the competition with additional time and a partner in pumpkin crime!
Donate now to VOTE! $1 = 1 vote! The contestant who receives the most votes will be crowned carving royalty on October 31 on our Facebook page.

Huntington Children's Museum (HCM) is committed to making STEAM learning opportunities accessible to all children, particularly those facing financial challenges. Through various innovative programs, the museum ensures that families in need can engage with its open-ended exhibits and programming. HCM’s "Museums for All" initiative allows families receiving WIC or SNAP benefits to visit the museum for a reduced admission of just $2 per person during operating hours, with approximately 25% of visitors benefiting from this program.
Neighborhood Investment Program (NIP) Credits
When you contribute a one-time donation of $500 or more to Huntington Children’s Museum, you can receive a tax credit through WV Neighborhood Investment Program. We can provide you with a credit for up to 50% of your donation in direct credits to use on your WV State taxes. Limited NIP credits are available.
