About this Event

Portland, this week we're taking over Eldorado at 7:00pm on Friday, October 30th to throw a Halloween party for singles.

Dress to impress in your best costume. Vote for your favorites throughout the party and we'll announce the winners of the costume contest around 9pm. Prizes to be announced!

Other than that, it's just one of our regular free, bar takeover parties -

What is a “Delete the Apps” Bar Takeover Party?

This is not speed dating or a singles mixer. It’s just a night out at a bar where you can easily see if that cutie across the bar is single. The Meeting Mutuals crew hands out color-coded stickers at the door so you can say if you're single (and if you're queer or straight) or if you're just there to meet new friends.

Here’s how it works:

Everyone gets a yellow happy face sticker. If you’re not dating, taken, or just there to support your single friends, the yellow smiley lets people know you’re here to socialize.

If you’re single and open to meeting someone, you can add a color-coded sticker to show who you date - men, women, or everyone.

Come solo, bring friends, or be the best wingperson in the room.

When you get there:

Go say hi to our hosts at the pink check-in table
Grab stickers to show who you’re there to meet
Write a conversation starter on one of our “Talk ___ To Me” stickers
Pick up a few “You’re Cute” contact cards - they’re blank on the back so you can give that cutie across the bar your name and phone number :)

And then it's up to you! These parties are what you make them so don't be shy - we attract a welcoming crowd - get out there and meet your people in person.

💌 No age brackets (but we usually see mid-20s to mid-40s)

🎟 Free & open to the public

👯 Come solo or bring a friend

See you soon :)
