Start your Most Best Halloween night with KALW! Join us for an evening of karaoke, open mic, live art, poetry, costumes, prizes, and the final night of the OPEN DECKS art show.

Bring your voice, your verse, your weird, your wonderful. Step up to the mic, sing your heart out, or just enjoy the talent and mischief of the KALW community. We’ll have live art, poetry performances, and treats (no tricks!) to keep the vibes flowing.

🧙‍♀️ Costumes encouraged — we’ll be awarding prizes for the best looks and performances.

Come celebrate creativity, community, and Bay Area magic at KALW’s Most Best Halloween — the perfect pre-party before your night out.

Your RSVP includes admission to Open Decks: Community Art in Motion, a collaborative art exhibition and cultural program featuring original art by 100 Bay Area artists on skateboard decks. Open Decks is on view from July 24 - October 31, 2025.

This event is free thanks to member support. Please become a KALW member today and receive your first drink on us at all 220 Montgomery events.

KALW's Most Best Open Mic happens the final Friday of every month from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Please note:

• The event space is just to the left of the main entrance to the Mills Building at 220 Montgomery Street
• We recommend taking BART/MUNI, exiting at Montgomery, and walking two blocks north
• Ride-shares can drop off and pick up directly in front of the venue
• If you drive, there are several garages within two blocks of the event location
