The Lodger is considered the “first true Hitchcock film” and is, obviously, a thrilling way to kick start your Halloween season. Morricone Youth is a collective of New York City musicians founded in 1999 reinterpreting 100+ film and television works all over the world, from CBGB's and the top of the World Trade Center to the Brooklyn Academy of Music, MassMoCA, Philadelphia Museum of Art and The Sydney Festival, as well as supporting Italian prog soundtrack legends Goblin on their 2017 North American tour. Years in the making – The Lodger: A Story Of The London Fog was composed for a live scoring of Alfred Hitchcock's 1927 British silent film classic, first performed live to a sold out audience at the Brooklyn Academy of Music on Halloween 2013. Morricone Youth's original reworked live film score for "The Lodger" had a vinyl release in 2022.
