Parks and Rec Little Chefs ProgramLittle Chefs is a hands-on, no-bake cooking program designed just for kids ages 5-12! Each session helps young chefs build confidence in the kitchen as they learn to safely use basic utensils, follow simple recipes, and explore their creativity through fun, no-bake treats. It's the perfect way to introduce kids to the joy of cooking -- without the heat!
This Halloween, our Little Chefs will whip up edible slime made from Jello mix -- complete with a variety of creepy (and tasty!) add-ins to stretch, squish, and snack on. Then they'll create their own witches' brew, starting with lemonade and customizing it with fun mix-ins to make their perfect potion.
Parents are encouraged to stay and participate.
