This Halloween, discover a new tradition. Join us for the inaugural Ladybug Dark Bloom Music Festival, a free afternoon of live music, local art, creative vendors, and community in the heart of Wilmington's historic Trolley Square. Inspired by the beauty of autumn, the spirit of Día de los Muertos, and the whimsical imagination of The Nightmare Before Christmas, Dark Bloom offers a fresh take on Halloween—one that celebrates creativity, music, artistry, and connection. From 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, October 31, 2026, Trolley Square will come alive with performances by women-led artists on multiple stages, local makers and artisans, seasonal décor, and experiences designed to encourage exploration and discovery. What You Can Expect 🎵 Live music throughout the afternoon featuring an incredible lineup of women-led artists. 🎧 A DJ helping set the soundtrack for the day between live performances. 🛍️ A curated marketplace of local artists, makers, and creative vendors. 🍂 Beautiful autumn-inspired décor, seasonal installations, and plenty of photo-worthy moments. 🌼 Interactive experiences that invite guests to become part of the festival, not just spectators. 🍁 A welcoming atmosphere where music, neighborhood businesses, creativity, and community come together. As planning continues, we'll be announcing artists, vendors, activities, and special experiences throughout the coming months, so be sure to follow this event for updates. More Than a Music Festival Dark Bloom is built around a simple idea: Beauty is something we create together. Whether you're discovering your next favorite musician, supporting a local artist, shopping with neighborhood businesses, or simply spending the afternoon with friends and family, every person helps bring the festival to life.
