This summer, for a LIMITED TIME ONLY, Apparition crosses the veil into the West Bottoms-the city’s most infamous district of sin, slaughter, and secrets. From the cowboy brawls of Hell’s Half Acre, to the debauchery of the Wettest Block in the World, to the concrete underworld of Boss Tom Pendergast, the streets here are paved with ghosts.

Now, those crooks, killers, and restless spirits return as we take you underneath Fountain City Winery by way of an ancient freight elevator.

At Hells Half Acre: The Haunted History of Kansas City, we will take you beneath . For $50, you’ll receive a specialty cocktail crafted for the evening, a souvenir mug to take home, and entry into an exclusive ghost story experience in the Apparition cellar. Only 13 guests may descend beneath the bar, where our storytellers conjure the spirits of Kansas City’s past with intimate, spine-tingling tales told in the dark.
