Emo Night returns to the Castro for our 2nd Annual Pre-Halloween Party!
About this EventHalloween was always our favorite time of year.
Because for once, everyone else had to wear a costume and pretend to be something they weren’t. We’d already been doing that all year. 🖤
So dust off the eyeliner. Straighten the bangs. Dig out the studded belt you swore you threw away. This is your invitation to Helena’s Masquerade — a funeral for our former selves and a celebration of the beautiful disasters we became.
Come dressed like it’s 2005 and your AIM away message is deeply concerning.
🖤 WHAT TO EXPECT
• Tim Burton meets Hot Topic décor
• Fog, dramatic lighting, confetti & absolute chaos
• Temporary tattoos to complete your transformation
• Taking Back Thursday photographer Starr Noir capturing the evidence
• DJ CIP spinning nonstop Emo, Pop Punk & Nu Metal anthems
Expect My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Fall Out Boy, Paramore, The Used, Bring Me The Horizon, Falling in Reverse, Jimmy Eat World, Linkin Park, Evanescence and all the songs that understood you when nobody else did.
This is your Black Parade.
Tell all your friends.
Make damn sure you’re there.
Because we’re still not okay....
🎭 Costumes highly encouraged. Emotional stability optional.
