Spend an unforgettable evening inside 221-year-old haunted Hamilton Hall, where the glamour of the Roaring Twenties meets Salem's haunted history.
Behind its historic doors awaits a decadent Jazz Age ball filled with live music, dazzling burlesque, ghostly encounters, vintage dancing, and an atmosphere unlike anything else you'll experience during Haunted Happenings.
The Original Haunted Speakeasy® has been delighting guests since 2016 and haunting Salem since 2021, becoming one of New England's most beloved immersive Halloween traditions.

Dress Code
Haunted Speakeasy is an immersive Jazz Age celebration, and we encourage every guest to become part of the experience.
Think Roaring Twenties & Thirties, vintage glamour, cocktail attire, Art Deco elegance, Ghastly Gatsby, ghosts, the undead, eerie sophistication, and Halloween-inspired finery. Whether you arrive as a glamorous flapper, a haunted socialite, a dashing gangster, or a ghost from another era—we invite you to dress the part and have fun with it!
If you're unsure, dressy black is always a perfect choice.
Not Permitted
To preserve the atmosphere of the evening, the following attire is not permitted
- Jeans
- T-shirts
- Sweatshirts or hoodies
- Shorts
- Baseball caps
- Casual everyday attire
- Sports logo wear
Guests who do not meet the dress code may be denied admission.
Please share the dress code with everyone in your party so there are no disappointments upon arrival.
No refunds will be issued for failure to comply with the dress code or for guests who are under 21 years of age or unable to present valid government-issued identification.

Accessibility
Hamilton Hall is a beautiful historic building dating to 1805. Due to its historic nature, it is not wheelchair accessible and does not have an elevator. Some areas of the event require the use of stairs.
We sincerely apologize for this limitation and appreciate your understanding as we celebrate within one of Salem's treasured historic landmarks.
