At 11 a.m. Oct. 18, Haunted Pamlico will present the brand-new Haunted History Tour, offering ghost stories of North Carolina and staffed by actors from Haunted Pamlico and the Tar River Players.This portion of our Halloween Festival and Carnival of Darkness is FREE to the public. Tour sign-ups will take place at the Alternative Stage/Haunted Pamlico booth during the Smoke on the Water barbecue festival, along Stewart Parkway in Washington, N.C.
The tours will run at 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. in front of the Turnage Theater. Space will be limited to about 30 attendees per tour, though we may add a tour if we can't bring along everyone who wishes to join. The tour is kid-friendly, but a little scary for very young children.
If you have mobility challenges, please let our organizers know so that we may make every effort to ensure the tour is accessible to you. The tour will take place rain or shine, and we'll move it indoors at the Turnage if need be. In the event of severe weather, we'll reschedule.
