HALLOWEEN DANCE & Costume Contest!
7pm: Line Dance Lesson “Bustin’ (Makes Me Feel Good)” with Michael (Easy Improver) 8-11pm: Social Dancing with DJ Ollie and DJ Nat
Get ready for a night of frights and delights! Come learn a fun new line dance choreographed by Stomptown’s own Michael Dressman. Then dance the night away with DJ Ollie and DJ Nat bringing you a special themed set sure to send chills down your spine. There will also be a costume contest! The theme is “Queer Icons” (RIP Dolly Parton and Tim Curry). Special prizes for solo contest and group (2+) contest winners.
Doors open at 6:45pm. Venue is 18+. The cover charge is a suggested donation of $10-$20. No one turned away for lack of funds. Our lessons vary in difficulty, check out our resources page for examples of the styles of dance we do and our line dance library! Our Norse Hall location is located up a flight of stairs with no elevator. The stairs and hallway are well lit and the dance room is dim. There are two multi stall bathrooms for anyone to use on the same level as the dance floor, with the bar being on the ground floor. There is street parking, a small parking lot, and bus lines 12, 19, 20, and 70 nearby.
