Get spooky on Frenchmen St with Bon Bon Vivant and enter our epic Halloween costume contest with $500 in prizes!
About this EventHalloween on Frenchmen Street is one of those only-in-New-Orleans nights. People come from around the world, locals turn out in force, and Frenchmen becomes a parade of incredible costumes, live music and late-night revelry.
This Halloween, Cafe Negril welcomes Bon Bon Vivant from 10PM–12AM, followed immediately by our $500 Costume Contest at midnight! Bon Bon Vivant will lead the contest, with $500 in prizes up for grabs. Then Boot Juice takes over at 12:30AM and keeps the party going until close.
BON BON VIVANT | 10PM–12AM
New Orleans' Bon Bon Vivant electrifies audiences across the country with a signature blend of jazz, Americana, dark ballads and up-tempo indie dance rock. Their original music pays homage to the bawdy New Orleans sound while adding an unmistakable indie flavor.
Joyous, fierce, honest and sometimes heartbreaking, BBV's music embraces the contrasts that make New Orleans so special—celebration and melancholy, light and darkness, all wrapped into one wildly entertaining live show.
Bon vivant means a person who enjoys a sociable and luxurious lifestyle, appreciating food, drink and music. A Bon Bon Vivant performance brings that philosophy to life: revelry, celebration and living while you've got living left.
