Playground Productions & Magick Candles Presents: Half-O-Ween in Irvington, sponsored by the Irvington Community Council, Chilly Water Brewing Co, and Steele Strings & Sobar.Join us for the 2nd annual Half-O-Ween in Irvington on April 25th, from 12pm-5pm at the Coal Yard Complex at 5529 Bonna Ave. This event is FREE to ALL AGES to attend!
In Irvington, the week leading up to Halloween is the midwest’s version of Mardi Gras! With Half-O-Ween, we are bringing in that vibe at the halfway point to Halloween!
DON'T MISS OUT ON OUR AMAZING EVENT, FEATURING:
• Vendor Village with 33 vendors!
• Psychic readings by Magick Candle with proceeds going to Gaia Works (local non-profit food pantry that feeds the elderly)
• Food and beverage vendors including local favorite Smash'd Burger
• Local craft beer from our beer sponsor Chilly Water Brewing Co.
• Local cider and wine from the Playground's bar
• Non-alcoholic beer, non-alcoholic wine, and other NA beverages from our sponsor Steele Strings & Sobar
• Live music from Dead Orchard, Foxxy Blue and JJ with the Watson Brothers
• All Ages Scary-oke: Costume Karaoke Contest with Jess West of Monsterz Inc.
-Sign ups begin at 3pm. Come to stage area to sign up. First come first serve.
-Scary-oke contestants but must in costume with song that coordinates with costume. No profanity.
-Judging categories for Adult and Children include: Concept Creativity, Stage Presence, Costume Concept & Aesthetics, Song Choice, and Singing Quality
• Appearances and performances throughout the day from The Black Hats Society
-Kids & Adults Cackling Contest with The Black Hats Society with prizes.
-Sign up for Cackling Contest at 1:00pm for the Kid contest and at 2:15pm for the Adult contest.
Come dressed in your best costume and let’s celebrate the halfway point to Halloween in Halloweentown USA!
