The GOTHBATS are excited to host our FIFTH annual Cemetery Picnic on Sunday October 18th from 12 - 3 PM to celebrate the Halloween season a little more formally this year ððĶ ðððŠĶðģ ð―The GothBats cemetery picnic is traditionally a potluck, so bring your favorite sharable dish, treat, or drink ðŠðĨŠðĨ§, bonus points if it's spooky, macabre, or Halloween themed ð **Please bring a notecard and label the dish contents for those of us with allergies and other food restrictions. This is an ALL AGES event ðĨģ.**
The picnic will be held at the gorgeous Nashville City Cemetery, located at 1001 4th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37210 ! There will be a list of rules posted that all attendees must abide by, as this is a historical site and we want to respect and take care of the area.
! ! PARKING RULES ! !
o We HIGHLY encourage carpooling and/or rideshare as parking is limited.
o Please save the 7 spots within the cemetery for people with accessibility issues.
o You MAY park inside the cemetery. Please proceed to the right upon entry to the cemetery and you may park with two wheels in the grass alongside the roadways inside the cemetery. Take care not to park 100% in the grass due to unmarked graves.
o You MAY park in the lot at 1000 Sixth Ave S Nashville, TN 37203 (Powdertech Services LLC).
o No parking on Oak Street and 4th Avenue / park at your own risk.
Directions and a map with the exact picnic location within the cemetery will be posted ðš. Tents for shade, water, and limited seating and table space will be provided. We suggest you bring a chair or blanket for your comfort. ðģðĪðð
