The Ghost Ships of DoncasterJoin us as we set sail for a second instalment of our illuminated Halloween Parade. Watch the boats as they pass from Long Sandall to the New Inn at Stainforth.

We welcome everyone to join us at the start of parade at Long Sandall lock where the boats will gather before embarking on the nights adventure. The boats will start to gather from 5:30pm and look to leave the lock at 6:30pm heading towards Barnby Dun.
You will be able to catch the boats anywhere along the canal and we advise getting down early and finding a safe spot. We are asking people to not overcrowd any one area and to take extra care along the towpath at night.
Don't forget to pay a visit to the Shanti Tea Boat if you're in Barnby Dun for a nice warm hot chocolate or coffee with plenty of tasty treats on offer
People are also welcome to join us at the finale in the New Inn where you can watch the boats come in and enjoy a fun nights entertainment with Karaoke, games and food being served late.

Wherever you choose to come and see the boats we can't stress enough how much people should take care whilst visiting the canal side at night. We advise you bring a torch, wear suitable footwear and warm clothing. We ask people not to crowd any one area of the canal and that times are approximations and to be patient waiting for boats to come past. You should see 20+ boats on this parade.
