Get ready for a spook‑tacular night in Downtown St. Cloud!This Halloween, St. Cloud Main Street is brewing up another unforgettable evening of tricks, treats, and eerie excitement. On Saturday, October 31, our historic downtown will transform into a Halloween playground filled with fun for all ages.
5:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Trick‑or‑Treat
Little ghouls, goblins, and costumed cuties can visit participating downtown businesses for safe, family‑friendly trick‑or‑treating. Bring your candy bags—there will be plenty of sweet surprises!
6:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Car Show
Cruise into the Halloween spirit with our annual Car Show! From classics to customs, enjoy a lineup of impressive rides parked downtown. Stroll through the displays, take photos, and enjoy the craftsmanship and creativity of local car enthusiasts. More details on awards or judging will be announced soon.
8:00 PM – 11:00 PM: Block Party
As night falls, the celebration comes alive! Enjoy music, dancing, street performers, games, vendors, and all the Halloween energy you can handle. It’s the perfect place to show off your costume, grab a bite, and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
Costume Contest
Think you’ve got the best Halloween look in town? Prove it! Our costume contest is FREE to enter and open to all ages. Categories include:
Ages 7 & Under — Best Overall
Ages 8–14 — Best Overall
Ages 15–20 — Best Overall
Ages 21 & Up — Best Overall & Best Group
Winners will receive gift cards sponsored by local businesses. Bring your most boo‑tiful, creepy, hilarious, or wildly creative costume and take your shot at the top prize!
New This Year! – Scarecrow Contest!
Help create a new community tradition in downtown St. Cloud! Everyone is invited to enter the Scarecrow Contest—businesses, families, households, and children alike.
Completed scarecrows will be displayed at Centennial Park from Wednesday, October 28 through Saturday, October 31 for the community to enjoy. Registration available online.
Awards will be presented for:
Best Business Scarecrow
Best Family/Household Scarecrow
Best Kids Scarecrow, Ages 12 and Under
German Witches Dance
The German Witches Dance returns to Downtown St. Cloud this Halloween — but with a new twist. Stay tuned for details on how this year’s performance will take the magic to the next level.
