Join the unstoppable undead takeover of the Capital City once more for the 16th Annual Downtown Lansing Zombie Walk!Whether you are a seasoned stumbler or a freshly bitten beginner, you’ll fit right in with our rotten crowd. Gather with us for a frightfully fun time where Zombies “Feed Folks, NOT Eat Folks!”
Zombie Walk Michigan 501(c)(3) with Zombie Bride bring awareness to the diversity of food insecurity, create connection within communities, and foster collaboration with local Food Banks though Family-Focused “FUN”-raising Zombie Walks.
Since 2009 our Downtown Lansing Zombie Walk Horde has been dead-set on fighting hunger. For 2026, the Greater Lansing Food Bank remains the Final Destination for 100% of all collected donations! We believe in and support the mission and vision of GLFB, as they align with our own dreams of a hunger-free World.
GLFB is also a Feeding America partner food bank, which makes them a member of a network of food banks, food pantries, and meal programs working together across the U.S. to fight food insecurity.
It's through this network GLFB utilizes bulk purchasing power ensuring every dollar is turned into more healthy meals for our neighbors. The Greater Area Lansing Food Bank is able to provide 3 meals for every $1 donated!
It takes brains to beat hunger so rise up and join us! We are grateful for your life-saving support!

• Saturday, October 3, 2026
• 3:00 to 4:00 pm - Welcome, Costume Contest Registration, & Donation Drop Off at "Zombie Bride" tent in Riverside Parking Lot of Impression 5
• 4:00 pm - Best Adult Zombie Contest
• 4:15 pm - Best Teen/Kiddo Zombie Contest
• 4:30 pm - Horde pre-Zombie Walk group photo
• 4:40 pm - Instructions given by Zombie Bride
• 4:45 pm - Zombies groan and shuffle away
• 5:00 pm - Zombie group photo on Capital steps
• 5:20 pm - Un-dead Gratitude
• 5:30 pm – Zombies and human-beans disperse into the City

🎪 HELPFUL INFORMATION
• All ages welcome!
• Look for the Zombie Bride Van
• Gather at "Zombie Bride's" tent
• Bring Non-perishable food items
• 100 % Cash & Coin directly to Greater Lansing Food Bank
• Costumes showing creepy creativity, undead uniqueness, and eerie individuality are highly favored (not required)
• Professional photographer on site
• Bring your Human-Bean or better yet, many to share!
• This is a gloom or glow event (rain or shine)
