🧡 Southeast Alabama Child Advocacy Center – SANE Program
Proceeds from the Witches Ride directly benefit the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Program, which offers trauma-informed forensic medical exams for children and adolescents who have experienced sexual abuse. Conducted by certified SANE nurses in a safe, compassionate environment, these exams ensure that victims receive both the medical care and legal advocacy they need—without additional trauma. This program is a cornerstone of healing and justice, bridging emotional support, medical services, and law enforcement collaboration.
💚 The Exchange Center for Child Abuse Prevention
Also supported through this event, the Exchange Center works to empower families by creating safe, nurturing home environments. Their extensive range of free services includes counseling for abuse survivors, in-home parenting education, supervised visitation, anger management classes, and prevention programs grounded in evidence-based practices. Their holistic, family-first approach helps break cycles of abuse and fosters stronger, more resilient communities across the region.
