Dogtober Adoption & Foster Festival 2025 is San Antonio’s largest fall pet adoption celebration—now bigger and better than ever! Hosted by San Antonio Animal Care Services in partnership with the San Antonio Food Bank, this full-day, family-friendly festival features over 200 adoptable pets and a packed lineup of fall-themed fun.

What to Expect:

• 200+ adoptable pets
• Pumpkin patch and fall photo ops
• Foster pet parade and pet costume contest
• Hay rides and puppy yoga
• Kids craft zone
• 40+ local vendors and small businesses
• Live music and food trucks
• Passport 4 Paws: Take a shelter dog on a mini adventure

Adoption Perks:All adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccinations, training support, microchip, custom ID tag, and more. The first 100 adoptions will receive starter kits with leashes, collars, and other pet essentials.

Early Access Option:Purchase a $25 Early Access Family Pass (good for 2 adults + kids under 18) to enter the event an hour early, get first pick of adoptable pets, enjoy priority parking, and unlock extra surprises. Space is limited.
