Boos & Brews 5k Halloween Beer Run x Alamo Beer Company | Part of the Texas Brewery Running Series

Get in the Halloween spirit a few days early and join us for a fun-filled day of running, beer, and good vibes at the 4th annual Boos & Brews 5k on Saturday, October 25. This year's host is the legendary Alamo Beer Company!

We've mapped out a 5k-ish course that starts and ends at the Alamo Beer Hall in downtown San Antonio. Whether you're a seasoned runner, just looking for a fun way to stay active, or in it for the beer, this event is fun for all. Run, walk, jog, even stumble like a zombie before celebrating with a refreshing craft beer brewed just steps away.

Costumes are encouraged (but not required)!

So gather your friends and come join us beneath the historic Hays Street Bridge at Alamo Beer Company on Saturday, October 25, 2025. It's going to be a day filled with beer run fun. See you there!

• This is a fun run, not a timed race—all paces are welcome, whether you run, jog, or walk.
• Open course alert: Roads will not be closed. Follow all traffic laws and stay aware.
• Our 5K-ish route starts and ends at the brewery and is designed to highlight the surrounding neighborhood. Follow the arrows and enjoy the sights!
• Bring a valid ID. You must be 21+ to enjoy the beer. Underage runners will receive a token for a non-alcoholic beverage.
• Rain or shine! If conditions aren’t safe for running, we’ll still gather for good times and great beer.
• No bag check—please pack light and dress for the weather.
• Dogs and strollers are welcome, but use caution. City sidewalks, streets, and trails may have uneven terrain which might not be suitable for your 4-legged and/or pint size running buddies. Alamo is dog and kid friendly, but requests dogs remain outside in the beer garden.
• Please drink responsibly. Carpooling or designating a driver is always a good idea.
