Russian salo — melt-in-the-mouth cured pork fat served with hearty black rye bread. After the steam and cold plunge, your body naturally craves fats and minerals to restore balance — and salo provides exactly that!
And, if desired, a small 100 grams of vodka — traditionally considered the perfect amount to cleanse the body and “K*ll the germs” after the banya. It’s the good way to toast to health — light, cheerful, and fully deserved! 🥂

The highlight of the experience is the Parenie ritual, performed by a skilled banya master using specially prepared oak or birch leaves.
In Russian tradition, these leaves are not symbolic — they’re believed to transfer natural strength and cleansing energy to the body through heat and touch.
The specialist “plays” with the steam, directing waves of warmth toward your body, then cooling certain areas at just the right moment to balance circulation and calm the nervous system.
It’s a fascinating rhythm of heat and cool, strength and softness — and yes, the master will beat the cold and badness out of your body (sometimes not that gently… I’m only teasing 😄).
