Come join us for a spine-tingling evening at Elixir Brew Co as she dives into the eerie world of Civil War ghosts in Georgia with author & historian Courtney McInvale. Get ready for a night of chilling tales and historical insights as we explore the haunted past of the Peach State.

Courtney is the founder & owner of Seaside Shadows Haunted History Tours (Mystic Connecticut). Following in her father's footsteps, she majored in History & interned at NCIS (Cold Case Homicide Unit) and worked with Homeland Security. Her father is a UGA alumni, graduating in the 70's as a History major.

She has been a guest on many Discovery/Travel Channel shows including Ghost Adventurers, and she routinely interviews on GAIA and George Noory's Coast to Coast .

As a 4th generation Georgia, she has relatives that fought in the Civil War. Courtney felt compelled to research the folklore & stories and is fascinated with Georgia Civil War stories and legends. The project quickly became 2 volumes - Civil War Ghosts of Georgia in the "Bury My Bones" Series.

Courtney will weave the audience thru battlefield, facts & folklore enchanting all ages with her storytelling during the first session. A Questions and Answer Session will follow. The presentation ends with photos and a book signing. She will have copies of her books for availabe for purchase.

This event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome in this family-friendly environment. Adults, don't forget to try some of the fall brews on tap. Soda & snacks are also available for purchase at Elixir.
