Dating from 1910 Brumder Mansion Bed & Breakfast is built in the gothic and Victorian architectural style, but interestingly, it seems the ghosts that inhabit come from after that time period. After the Brumder family sold the home to the mafia-connected Pick Brothers it became a gambling hall, brothel and prohibition venture used by the mob when Chicago was becoming too hot.

The previous owners as well as the current owners have their fair share of ghostly phenomena from objects moving on their own to items disappearing to the sounds of unexplained voices.
