About this Event📚🎃 Books & Brunch for Kids: Halloween Edition with Emily Santos
Sunday, October 25
12:00 – 2:00 PM
Halloween is coming to Da Book Joint!
Bring the little book lovers out for a special Halloween Edition of Books & Brunch for Kids — an afternoon filled with books, brunch, activities, and a little spooky fun!
Kids are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween fit because we’re having a Halloween Costume Contest! One lucky winner will take home a special Halloween literary treat!
This month we are joined by Emily Santos, local author of Esmeralda Makes Friends with the Butterflies. She will be leading brunch with a storytime and pairing it with a fun activity for the kids based around affirmations!
Each child will get to enjoy a book, brunch, and fun literacy-focused activities in a space created to make reading feel exciting, social, and fun.
Whether they show up as a favorite character, superhero, princess, spooky creature, or something completely out of the box, we want to see those costumes!
