Centralia, Illinois ~ October 25, 2025 ~ Centralia will hold its 98th Annual Halloween Parade and Fall Festival. The theme this year is Frights, Lights and Delights. The Fall Festival is located in downtown Centralia and will begin at 9:00 A.M.. It features a Craft Fair at the Centralia Recreation Complex, free children’s games and activities, best dressed pet contest, chili cook-off, car show, downtown merchants, traveling vendors, flea market, local entertainment and dance groups and, of course, delicious food. At 11:00 A.M. will be the Children’s Halloween Parade, where children of all ages can dress in their Halloween costumes and walk in the parade. Judging for the costume contest starts promptly at 10:30 A.M. at the Centralia Public Library Park located at 515 East Broadway. The 98th Annual Halloween Parade will begin at 7:00 P.M. and will follow the Poplar Street Route. Come and enjoy the marching bands, floats and many more attractions! Awards for the float and marching band winners are held immediately after the parade at Lifestar, 302 S. Poplar. We encourage everyone to attend to see if their favorite band and float wins.
