HALLOWEEN IS TAKING OVER THE DISTRICT!Planning ahead for Halloween? Have no fear—we’re still getting spooky in the District!
On Saturday, October 31, lingering zombies, witches, ghosts, ghouls, costumed heroes, masked Fayettevillains, and everything in between are invited to take over the streets of Downtown Fayetteville for Halloween in the District!
TRICK OR TREAT | 4–6 PM
Bring the kiddos downtown as our neighborhood businesses come together to celebrate spooky season! Dress up, explore the District, and fill those candy bags with treats from participating downtown businesses.
But don’t just grab your candy and ghost us. Stick around because the costumes are coming out!
YOUTH COSTUME CONTEST | 6:30 PM
We want to see what you’ve got! Costume contest categories include:

Okay, big kids... it’s YOUR turn!
We’re looking for the most creative, realistic, recognizable, and downright spooktacular costumes Downtown Fayetteville has to offer.
Ages 18+
Meet at 222 Hay Street for signup and the contest.
And once the winners are crowned, don’t disappear into the night! Take your Halloween self for a stroll through the Downtown Fayetteville Social District and stop by our District bars, restaurants, and shops for scarily good cocktails, food, and more Halloween fun.
