🎉 On July 1st, we're celebrating our 1st anniversary! 🎉What a year it has been.
One year ago, we opened our doors with one simple idea: to create a place where everyone feels welcome.
Since then, we've become much more than a bar.
Together, we've celebrated Dutch King's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Día de Andalucía, Oktoberfest, Bonfire Night (5th of November), Croatian Statehood Day and even World Animal Day with Homelesscat Salobrena: an event that led to several successful adoptions.
We hosted an unforgettable Halloween Murder Mystery Night with our monthly pub quiz host David Moran and continue to enjoy live music with J Gabriel Chiu Suito, An Acoostik Basket, Juntos and many other events every week.
The Ukulele Strumblies led by Mark Clifton and David regularly fills the place with music, the chess club with Tim Ward and Daniel De Haan has become a familiar sight, the darts club with George Chaney, Teresa Deasy and more amigos brings friendly competition, Marta´s Spanish classes create a relaxed space to learn, and our language exchange has led to many new friendships.
Our community library also shows that a bar can be much more than a place to eat and drink, it's a place where stories are shared.
But above all, it's the spontaneous moments that make this place special: singing together, dancing, celebrating successes, sharing stories or simply taking a break from everyday life.
To our amazing team: thank you. Without your hard work, dedication, energy and endless smiles, none of this would have been possible.
And to everyone who has walked through our doors: thank you for turning our bar into a home away from home.
And since when it's your birthday, you treat your guests. 🥂

🎉 ¡El miércoles 1 de julio celebramos nuestro primer aniversario! 🎉
¡Qué año tan increíble ha sido!
Hace un año abrimos nuestras puertas con una idea muy sencilla: crear un lugar donde todo el mundo se sintiera bienvenido.
Desde entonces, nos hemos convertido en mucho más que un bar.
Hemos celebrado juntos el Día del Rey de los Paises Bajos, San Patricio, el Día de Andalucía, Oktoberfest, la Noche de las Hogueras (5 de noviembre), el Día de la Independencia de Croacia y el Día Mundial de los Animales, una iniciativa que incluso dio lugar a varias adopciones.
Organizamos una inolvidable Noche de Misterio de Halloween junto a nuestro presentador del pub quiz mensual y disfrutamos cada semana de música en directo y muchos otros eventos.
Los Ukulele Strumblies llenan el sitio de música con frecuencia, el club de ajedrez se ha convertido en una imagen habitual, el club de dardos aporta una competición amistosa, las clases de español ofrecen un espacio cercano para aprender y nuestro intercambio de idiomas ya ha dado lugar a muchas nuevas amistades.
Nuestra biblioteca comunitaria también demuestra que un bar puede ser mucho más que un lugar para comer o beber: es un espacio donde se comparten historias.
Pero, sobre todo, son los momentos espontáneos los que hacen que este lugar sea especial: cantar juntos, bailar, celebrar los éxitos, compartir experiencias o simplemente desconectar del día a día.
A nuestro increíble equipo: gracias. Sin vuestro esfuerzo, dedicación, energía y sonrisas, nada de esto habría sido posible.
Y a todas las personas que han cruzado nuestras puertas: gracias por convertir nuestro bar en un hogar.
