Join us as we investigate this unique haunted location using a variety of different paranormal equipment, such as EMF Meters, REM Pods, Spirit Boxes and Detectors, plus our own senses as we attempt to find out what spirits still roam this site. We will be using methods like Victorian Table Tipping, Ouija Boards and the Estes Method, as well as utilising other equipment and techniques throughout the night in an attempt to communicate with the spirits of Middleton Hall.

Located on the outskirts of Tamworth lies the Grade II listed Middleton Hall, a place that traces its origins back to the Domesday Book. Home to the medieval families of the de Marmions, the de Frevilles and the Willoughbys, with connections to the Knights Templar. Queen Elizabeth I visited Middleton Hall in 1575 when she knighted Sir Francis Willughby, a direct ancestor of the late Lady Diana Spencer. A global hub for science and nature during the 1600s, leading to the creation of the Barony of Middleton in 1712. The 19th century saw influential tenants reside here, like MPs Sir Francis Lawlet, John Peel and Egbert de Hamel, until its final sale to the Averill family in 1924. The Hall became abandoned, rotting away and left in horrible disrepair, until the site was saved by The Middleton Hall Restoration Trust in 1980, whose volunteers have spent over 40 years transforming the ruins back into a living architectural timeline.
Renowned as one of the most haunted locations in the Midlands, many ghost sightings and paranormal activity are reported at Middleton Hall, the most famous ghost being the Grey Lady, first sighted in the Library in the 1800s and more recently in 2018 by a volunteer, with some visitors claiming they too have seen her since then. A dark, shadow figure is seen on the Grand Staircase and overlooking the balcony, bringing a negative presence. Phantom footsteps, chanting and disembodied voices are frequently reported, as well as poltergeist activity and physical sensations of being touched by unseen hands. Spirit children have been sensed, cold spots felt and other unexplained phenomena experienced.
