The undead are on the move at this year’s Zoo Zoom! Shuffle, sprint, or stagger your way through a 5k run (timed thanks to our friends at Blue Cheetah Timing) or 1-mile walk (not timed) alongside fellow zo(o)mbies. After the race, enjoy Halloween fun—your ticket also grants you entry to the Zoo and our bewitching Zoo BOO! festival the same day, where there will be trick-or treat stations, games, entertainment, costume contests, and more.Get into the spirit and come dressed as a member of the living dead or in your favorite costume. There will be post-race festivities in Waterfowl Pavilion, including a photo booth, food trucks, and access to the “SpookEasy” bar ($). All participants will receive a commemorative Zoo Zoom long-sleeve tee.

7:00 – On-site registration begins
8:00 – Pre-race warm up
8:20 – 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk Start
8:35 – 5K Run/Walk Start
9:20 – 10:20 – Animal Ambassadors
9:45 – Awards Ceremony
9:00 – 11:00 – Post-race festivities
10:00 – 4:00 – Zoo admission and Zoo BOO! festival
