WMNF Halloween Ball 2026: A Night of Goth, Industrial & DarkwaveDarkness falls on Tampa Bay once again.
The WMNF Halloween Ball returns Friday, October 16, taking over New World Tampa for a night of goth rock, darkwave, industrial sounds, dancing, costumes and Halloween mayhem.
This year, we’re turning up the darkness with a lineup built for the dance floor, featuring Obsidian, Last Grasp and Modular-13, plus DJ Jet keeping the party moving throughout the night.
And guiding us through the evening will be our host and MC, Alexis Brooke Williams, bringing plenty of personality, humor and Halloween spirit to the festivities.
🦇 Headlining: Obsidian
Obsidian
Coming from South Florida, Obsidian brings a dark, danceable take on goth rock and a live show made for a Halloween night.
Known for drawing enthusiastic crowds while sharing stages with touring acts, Obsidian will headline the 2026 Halloween Ball with a set that blends driving rhythms, gothic atmosphere and plenty of energy.
🕸 Last Grasp
Last Grasp
Florida’s own Last Grasp lives at the intersection of goth rock, darkwave, post-punk, EBM and industrial music, pairing darker atmospheres with infectious, danceable hooks.
Primarily a one-person studio project that expands into a two-musician live performance, Last Grasp has built an extensive catalog of Florida-infused goth music, including the 2025 album Southern Malaise and the 2026 release Realest Undead.
Dark, catchy and surprisingly danceable, Last Grasp should feel right at home at the WMNF Halloween Ball.
⚙️ Opening the Night: Modular-13
Modular 13
Modular-13 kicks off the Halloween Ball with a theatrical mix of industrial and goth, setting the tone for everything that follows.
Expect a performance that embraces the darker, stranger and more dramatic side of the night, the perfect soundtrack as the creatures of Tampa Bay begin emerging from the shadows.

A familiar presence at the WMNF Halloween Ball, DJ Jet returns to keep the dance floor alive between performances and deep into the night with a soundtrack worthy of the witching hour.

This year’s master of ceremonies is Alexis Brooke Williams, bringing her humor and energy to the stage as she guides us through a night of music, costumes and Halloween surprises.
