The first Witches Collegium was brewed in our cauldron, sort of like a spell gone rogue, way back in 2021. What started out simply as our studio plans for Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment's annual Witches Day on the Thursday before Halloween, quickly grew out of control to become a family-friendly, 3-day, weekend-long event involved an ever-growing number of studios through Lowe Mill.
In 2025, we are excited to bring you our 4th annual event, which is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever before! There's no telling what will be concocted before this year's potion finishes simmering in the cauldron.
Here are some of the things you have to look forward to!

*FEATURED GUEST: Keep an eye out for some fundraisers that will help us keep prices on any ticketed events as low as possible to keep things affordable for everyone.
WITCH'S QUEST: A scavenger hunt taking you through a number of studios across all the floors of Lowe Mill A&E and *hopefully through a number of businesses in Huntsville and Madison as well
WITCH'S CLASSROOM: A variety of free witchy-themed classes, taking place in various studios
WITCH'S SHOPPE: Event swag t-shirts and tote bags
WITCH'S CAULDRON: Free Witches Brew, witchy coloring pages, and low-cost make-and-take projects at SPARKLE Studio
WITCH'S WALK: Gather at SPARKLE Studio on Thursday and Saturday at [time to be announced later] for a large group gathering of witches as we strut our stuff around Lowe Mill
WITCH'S GRIMOIRE: A full-color downloadable PDF event guide, featuring the class schedule, maps with participating studios highlighted, a list of any specials being offered by studios throughout the Mill, coupons, and more!
WITCH'S CRIER: Keep returning directly to this event page and to SPARKLE Studio's Facebook page for new and updates on this event throughout the rest of the year. Towards the end of summer, we'll share information about which studios are participating in the scavenger hunt, which studios are offering their own specials, and more exciting news.

EVENT ATTIRE: You are encouraged to don your finest witchiest attire as you enjoy the activities. Or come dressed in mundane clothes and simply let your witchy spirit shine! Dress as you like!
INCLUSIVITY: This is a family-friendly event to which everyone is welcome. All studios at Lowe Mill are invited to be part of this exciting event. If you don't see your favorite studio listed in any of our event activities, please let them know you'd like to see them take part. Just ask them to get in touch with us.
ACCESSIBILITY: We are very happy that Lowe Mill has a working elevator again, making it possible for everyone to access studios on the upper floors!
YOUR SUGGESTIONS: Got an idea on how we make the Witches Collegium even more fun for our community? Post a message here on the event page or send a message to the SPARKLE Studio Facebook page with your ideas. Just keep in mind that since this event is totally free to the public, we have a VERY VERY minimal budget! We really want to hear your ideas!
POTENTIAL TEACHERS: If you are interested in teaching a free, 45-minute class on any kind of witchy, Halloween, gaming, fantasy, metaphysical, or esoteric topic, please send a message to the SPARKLE Studio page. Be sure to include the topic of the class and a very brief description.
While you cannot sell anything during the class, you will be given an extra 5 minutes to promote your business. You're welcome to give out freebies: business cards, flyers, coupons, samples, etc. If you don't have a studio at Lowe Mill and you are interested in selling things during the event, please let us know. We may have a solution for you.
POTENTIAL VENDORS: This event is designed to focus on and support Lowe Mill artists, but this year we hope to have a vendor shoppe on Saturday at a different venue. Please be careful to avoid scammers. AUTHORIZED VENDOR INFORMATION WILL COME FROM ONLY 2 SOURCES: FB/IG @thatsparklestudio or our email address from domain thatsparklestudio.com.
