Join us in raising autism awareness and promoting acceptance by participating in this year's Autism Awareness 5k Walk/Run in Wilmington.About this Event
We enthusiastically invite you to the upcoming Wilmington Autism Awareness 5k Run/Walk taking place on Saturday, April 8 at Wilmington Waterfront Park.
This 5k event is in partnership with Providence, The Wilmington YMCA, SBCC, and Assemblymember Mike Gipson, as well as the Port of Los Angeles.
The 5k walk includes:
- Stretches/ Warm up
- Free Autism Shirts (first come first serve)
- Sensory Station
- Music
- Medals for the First 350 to Finish
- Family Friendly Easter Egg hunt afterwards
The event is designed to raise awareness about autism and provide a safe space for families to come together and have fun while also supporting a great cause.
We are aiming to create an inclusive environment where everyone can participate and feel welcome, including individuals on the autism spectrum.
