An evening of whisky, storytelling, ritual, music and remembrance, hosted by Whisky & Witches and Ardbeg.
As the wheel of the year turns and the veil between worlds grows thin, we gather at Samhain to pause, remember, share and give thanks.
Join us for an intimate, informal whisky dinner celebrating women, the divine feminine, and the power of coming together. Everyone is welcome.
This is not a spectacle or a show. It is an evening around the table: a chance to eat, drink, listen, sing and enjoy music, tell stories and make space for the people and women who have shaped us — including those who are no longer here.
Throughout the evening, we’ll weave in small rituals, folklore and curious facts from Samhain traditions — from the Álfablót in the Nordic Countries to tales of the Hidden Folk in the great glens and tallest mountains of Scotland — using them as invitations into conversation.
THE EVENING INCLUDES:
- A curated 3-course menu from The Mother Superior. Catering to meat-eaters, vegetarian and vegan
- The dinner is paired with 4 whiskies/whisky cocktails - options to purchase additional drinks

- A remembrance candle
Remembering
Samhain is a time for remembrance.
You are invited to bring a photograph of a deceased loved one with you — your ethereal plus one for the evening — and place them alongside you at the table.
During the evening, each guest will have the opportunity to write the name of someone they wish to remember onto a candle as well. Together, we’ll light the candles and create a collective musical moment of remembrance.
Should anyone wish to share a story about someone with whom they remember, or simply raise a glass in their honour, they are most welcome.
