Children and families who live in the Hartford area are invited to a fun, free outdoor event that includes the safe distribution of candy from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the Urban League’s office at 140 Woodland St. (corner of Woodland St. and Sargeant St.) in Hartford.Decorated cars and booths – hosted by community organizations, small businesses, and individuals – will safely distribute pre-packaged candy and treats. Features include a DJ, music, double-dutch, arts & crafts, photo wall, a variety of prizes, and costume parade.
Attendees are encouraged to wear a costume (optional) (masks also will be available for those who need). All young children should be accompanied by an adult.
