We're kicking off the Christmas season and our XMAS UPCYCLING DAYS with our first upcycling DIY workshop with one of our favourite cosmos designers:
Heiner Radau is an artist and textile designer from Berlin who travels around the world and draws cities, live on the street.
In July he was one of the participating designers of the DroneArt UpCyling PLATTE X CooperCopter Project: The Hamburg-based aerial photography company CooperCopter https://coopercopter.com used its drones to stage an art action at the Hamburg Reeperbahn Festival, where drones equipped with paint bags flew against a tarpaulin stretched along the Reeperbahn and covered it with colour gradients.
PLATTE.Berlin then distributed the tarpaulin, which was divided into 4-square-metre elements, to designers from the PLATTE.kosmos, who used it to make a wide variety of bags.
We have a few of the canvas left and Heiner will show how to make simple accessories during the workshop.
